Bicycle with us on the 5-mile bike trail around this historic island where you can see beautiful views of San Francisco, the Golden Gate, and surrounding areas or alternatively, you can ride the narrated tram which stops along the way. Wander through military bases that were established on the island in the 1800s and during WW II. There’s also the Immigration Station that operated between 1910 and 1940 which functioned as the West Coast’s version of Ellis Island. Pack a picnic lunch or purchase food at the café.
